He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kempke and Myrtle Kempke; and his brothers, Richard, Robert, Floyd and Merle.
He is survived by: his spouse Madonna Fern Kempke of Lincoln; his sons, Larry of Lewisville and David of Ellsworth; his daughters-in-law, Cyndi and Alisa; his siblings, Howard Kempke and Melva Howard; Marquette and Milford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
