He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pruitt, Jr. and Jacqueline Pruitt (Jackson); his sister Mary Simmons; and his half-brother Phillip Louthan. He is survived by: his mother-in-law June Choitz; his wife June; his daughters, Christina Pruitt of Wyoming, MI and Jenny Shoemaker of Newton, KS; his grandchildren, Marissa Edwards of Grand Rapids, MI, Wyatt Edwards of Cottonwood Falls, KS, Jerek Shoemaker of Park City, KS and Kirsten Shoemaker of Newton, KS; and his sister Sandy Maholland of Salina, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
