He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Juanita Strawn; his children, John Boley (Diana), Wakefield, Mark Boley (Connie), Concordia, Cindy Boley (Bennie), Jay Boley (Deb), Meade Boley and Rex Boley; his siblings, Francis Hargis (Richard) and Tom Boley (Velma); and his nephew Alan Hargis.
