It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Bender of Ellsworth, Kansas, born in Scandia, Kansas, who passed away on July 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Cooper and Grace Cooper (Sandborn); her husband Donald C. Bender; her sisters, Barbara Anderson and Jackie Hammeke; and her son-in-law David A. Mayfield.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Bender (Cynthia) of Ellsworth, Gail Mayfield of Andover, KS, Geri Ranker (Dwayne) of Ellsworth, Gina Renz (Pat) of Ellsworth and Eeva Raitio (Juha) of Finland. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
