He was predeceased by: his father Verlin Buchholz; and his son Daniel Dean Buchholz. He is survived by: his mother Lois Jean Buchholz (Johnson) of Ellsworth; his wife Mary Krog of Ellsworth; his children, William Buchholz (Cynthia) of Lake Winnebago, MO, Megan Asbury (Joshua) of St. George, KS and Christopher Buchholz of Ellsworth; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Carley, Rosin, Devlin and Evelinn; his siblings, Sandra Kumm (Wayne) of Ortonville, MN, Marlin Buchholz (Debbie) of Marion, KS, Julie Rayer (Bill) of Creighton, NE and Jane Rodenhouse of Topeka, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Krog of Aurora, CO and Harry Krog of Orangeville, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
