With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Otis Metcalf of Emporia, Kansas, born in Breckenridge, Colorado, who passed away on March 20, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis Metcalf and Helen Metcalf. He is survived by : his wife Linda Johnson; his children, Chris Metcalf of Emporia, Tara Hall (Whitney) of Emporia and Tony Metcalf (Abby) of Overland Park; his siblings, Dale Metcalf (Kay) of Columbia, MO and Carolyn Mann of Sedgwick; and his grandchildren, Logan, Chloe, Whitney, Levi, Waylon, Walker Dwight, Mick, Winnie, Macy, Kennedy, John Wesley and Madelyn. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dwight and Linda Metcalf Scholarship Fund at Emporia State University or Hand in Hand Hospice in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175.
