She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Vogelman and Mildred Vogelman (Hinnen); her husband Charles Barlett; and her brother Gail Vogelman. She is survived by: her children, Edward Barlett (Maryann) of Kansas City, Benjamin Barlett (Tina) of Seattle, Daniel Barlett (Cari) of Rose Hill and Suzie Warrington (Jeff) of Wichita; and her grandchildren, Matthew Barlett, Sara Barlett, Joshua Barlett, Silas Barlett, Riley Barlett, Erin Barlett, Taylor Barlett and Kylee Barlett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Emporia Friends of the Library and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
