He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Davidson and Cecil Davidson (Price); his wife Diana V. Green (Settlemyer); his brothers, Arden, Ivan and Harold Davidson; his granddaughter Heather Larson; his stepdaughter Maggie Spicer; his grandsons, Chad Thomas and Josh Townsend; and his great grandchild Ellie Hay.
He is survived by: his son Thomas L. Hay of Lyons, KS; his stepson Allan R. Green of Emporia, KS; his daughters, Ginger Sanders (Rocky) of Chapman, KS, Brenda Thomson (Andrew) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Vinessa Polender (Westley) of Hickory, NC; and his stepdaughter Sheila D. Townsend of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Geneva Cemetery.
