Mabel F. Gast Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel F. Gast (Emporia, Kansas), born in Pomona, Kansas, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Johnson and Eunice Johnson (Gould); her siblings, Ernest Johnson, Alice Morris, William Johnson, Katherine Watson and Lexie Jones; and her grandson Justin Barnaby.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Ginger Redeker (Dave) and Nancy Shearer (Dale); and her great grandchildren, Michael Shearer (Lacey), Jake, Payten Redeker, Logan, Morgan, Eric Barnaby (Micalah) and Casey Barnaby (Liz).
A memorial has been established to the June Bug Cancer Foundation, as well as the Emporia Friends of the Zoo, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
