He is survived by: his brother-in-law Chuck Nelson; his wife Bettie; his children, Robert Aaron Cockrell, II (Mavis) of Topeka, KS, Richard Alan Cockrell of St. Mary and Patricia Ann Stark (David) of Bushong, KS; his grandchildren, Cherie Austin of Robert Cockrell, III, Jessica Coolbaugh and Chris Stark; his siblings, Helen Nelson, Eva Warren (Charles) and Alan Cockrell (Janie); and his siblings' child Lonesome. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
