He was predeceased by: his brothers, Grayson, A. H., Warren and H. E. "Bink" Spade. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Wilson of Emporia; his children, Steve (DeAnn) of Manhattan and Sharon Spade of Emporia; his grandchildren, Stephanie Spade Leffingwell (Bryan) of Phoenix, AZ and Geoffrey Spade (Julia) of Houston, TX; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Colton Leffingwell, Scarlett and Wesley Spade.

Memorial contributions to the North Lyon County Museum can be sent in care of the funeral home.
