He was predeceased by: his brother James Byron; his parents, Mabel and John A Decker, Jr.; his brothers, Charles, Glenn and Wallace; and his foster brother Warren Douglas.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Dorothy Elizabeth Bellman; his children, Patricia McMains (Randall) of Arkansas City and David Decker (Ivy Arroyo) of Leander, TX; his mother-in-law Barbara Ann Hunt Bays; his wife Barbara; his stepsons, Todd Bays (Claire) of Lawrence, KS and Scott Bays (Kim) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Justin, Jason, James Decker, Ian, Julia McMains, Abbey, Nathan Bays, Allison (Cody Tilson), Madison Bays, Travis and Ross Arroyo; his great grandchildren, Mason, Brennan, Landon, Carter, Hunter and Maxwell Decker; and also, Todd and Scott Bays.
