He was predeceased by: his father Rodger D. Buskirk; his sisters, Susan Montgomery and Deborah Payne; and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Beverly Yockey.
He is survived by: his mother Pauline Buskirk (Kollar) of Erie; his wife Connie; his children, Jason Buskirk (Debbie) and Janelle Smith (Josh) of Erie; his grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Lane Smith, Kinsley Smith, J. J. Rice (Keylee), Vanessa Cool (Jerry), Lane Pickett (Krystina), Austin Pickett and Alexa Pickett; his brothers, Craig Buskirk (Deborah) and Rodger Buskirk (Kay) of Wichita; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Bush (Brian) of Wichita and Cindy Johnson of Chanute. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home (113 S Main St, Erie, KS 66733). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Erie Federated Church (202 S Main St, Erie, KS 66733).
Memorials are suggested to the Erie Federated Church.
