She was predeceased by: her mother Eunice Givens (Pannell); her sister Mary Ann Givens; and her father Charles Melvin Givens. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Karen Lewis of Lawrence, Lee Scott of Lawrence and Mary Scott of Eudora; her grandchildren, Kathy Barlow and Frederick Morbid; her siblings, Muriel Givens of Ripley and Charles Melvin Givens, Jr. of Corinth, Mississippi; and her daughter-in-law Melanie Scott of Lawrence. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
