It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Lea Uhl (Eureka, Kansas), born in Rosalia, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Freeman Wilber and Sarah Emma Soule (Cronk); her husband Max Eugene Uhl; her daughter Sharlyn Kay Flomerfelt; and her siblings, Bertha Erickson, Eleanor Jacoby, Phyllis Enos, Carol Soule, Sandra Soule, Florence Sellers and Bill Soule.

She is survived by : her former life partner James Edgar Flomerfelt; her daughters, Joyce Lorance of Treasure Island, FL and Carol (Ron Plaisted) of Garnett; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Lorance of Austin, TX, Robert Lorance of Puerto Penasco and Natalie Finneran of Treasure Island, FL; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Shelby Lorance of Austin, TX and Matteo Lorance of Puerto Penasco, Mexico; and her siblings, Merle Soule of Mt. Vernon, IL, Gilbert Soule of Madison, Richard Soule of Eureka, Susan Thole of Stafford, Joan Talkington of Hamilton, Thedda Olson of Eureka, Sharron Urton of Eureka and Karen Nordmeyer of Eureka.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Hamilton Community Fellowship.
