It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwina Mae Hays (Eureka, Kansas), born in Lamont, Kansas, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Zimmerman and Bernice Elizabeth Zimmerman (Newlon); her husband Fred; and her siblings, Rita Darlene Wiggins (Zimmerman) and Dale Dean Zimmerman.

She is survived by : her daughter Vicki (Larry Walford); and her grandsons, Shane L. (Angie Frakes) and Buck L. (Camille Frakes). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Hospital.
