It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Yvette Nelson (Fort Scott, Kansas), who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Yvette Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert P. Wilson and Bonnie Dale Wilson; her husband Bro. Gene Nelson; and her brother Albert "Sonny" Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Richette Shireman (Doug), Sandy Haas (Ron) and Rod Nelson (Bev); and her sisters, Bonita Holman and Anita Davis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Xenia Baptist Missions Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
