It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack William Hixon (Fort Scott, Kansas), born in Redfield, Kansas, who passed away on May 7, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Clara Bernice Briggs Hixon; and his siblings, Vern Hixon, Ruth Brown and Lena Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Judy; his children, Fred Hixon (Susan) and Rebecca Zimmerman (Doyle) of Ft. Scott; his granddaughters, Jennifer Clark (Jim) of Girard, KS and Jill Hensley (David); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Jill, J. D. Clark, Cali and Carter Hensley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
