She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Hoggatt and Virginia Ann Thompson Hoggatt; her husband Jim; her great grandchild Weston; her brother Bill; and her half-sister Verlyne.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Eastwood (Paula), Susan Carnes (Mike) of Ft. Scott and Shelly Brennon (Kenny) of Ft. Scott; and her siblings, Judy Button Hobbs of Ft. Scott and Vernis Hoggatt of Springfield, Oregon.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cheney Witt Chapel (201 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
