We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020 we had to say goodbye to William Harrison Skaggs (Fort Scott, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Skaggs and Thelma Skaggs (Slade); his son William Skaggs Jr. (Billy); and his brothers, David and Darryl Skaggs.

He is survived by: his wife Gwen Marie Skaggs; his children, Rusty Skaggs (Kimi) of Arcadia, KS, George Skaggs of Arma, KS, Jerry Skaggs of Ft. Scott, KS., La Tishua Harrison of Lenexa, KS and Sherry Skaggs of Topeka, KS.; his stepdaughters, Kristina Gouvion (David) of Centerton, AR and Elizabeth Trujillo of Overland Park, KS; his adoptive daughter Amber McMillan of Joplin, MO.; and his sisters, Diana Gill (Mike) of Mound City, KS, Roxie Skaggs of Longmont, CO and Dawn Wood (Dean) of Casper, WY.. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in his honor be made to Buck Run Community Center Youth Baseball and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, PO Box 347, 201 S. Main St., Ft. Scott, KS 66701.
