She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Smith and Rosa Smith; her former life partner Marvin H. Huckins; her husband Charles "Chuck" Steele; and her son Michael H. Huckins. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
