He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel and Cecil Gertrude Hixenbaugh (Burkeybile); and his siblings, James Giddens, Anna Hixenbaugh Reed, Juanita Giddens Rogers, Josephine Hixenbaugh Frazier, George Henry Hixenbaugh and Sonny Hixenbaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dake; his children, Machelle Dake Smith (Howard) and William; his great grandchildren, Aria Dake, Gaberilla Wicker, Emma Schwatken and Sylas Wicker; and his sisters, Betty Hixenbaugh Shallenburger and June Hixenbaugh Murray. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
