With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila Marietta Scott of Galena, Kansas, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandchild Shaylinn Freeman; her parents, Clark Franklin Vanderpool and Marietta Ruth Vanderpool (Culver); and her sister Carolyn Grace Shallenburger (Vanderpool). She is survived by: her husband John Scott (Butch); her children, Shawna Leigh Serage of Galena and Clark Franklin (Frank); her grandchildren, Kameron Freeman (Jess), Stevie Freeman, Carthage, Jamie Logan and Avrey Freeman; and her nephews, Jerry David Shallenburger, Bryan Todd Shallenburger (Lisa), William West Vanderpool, Clark Culver Vanderpool (Amanda) and Nathan Allen Vanderpool (Katie). She is also survived by her great grandchildren.
