She is survived by: her sons, Charles Painter, Michael Herndon and Phillip Herndon; her siblings, Danny Simpson (Lisa) and Katherine McLaughlin; her brother-in-law Don McKnight; and her close friend Brenda Colon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
