He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Albert and Viola Pearl Shelton Fowler; and his siblings, David, Wanda, Morina, Helen and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Graeff Whitehurst; his stepdaughters, Ann Whitehurst of Texas, Constance Smith of Colorado, Linda Whitehurst of Texas, Teresa Shearmire of Missouri and Rose Whitehurst of Kansas, Five; and his siblings, Phyllis Cook (Tommie) of Flordia, Roger Fowler (Tamra) of Colorado, Marilyn Witman (Ronnie) of Colorado, Terry Fowler (Cindy) of Garden City and Cindy Keller of Garden City. He is also survived by 15 Step Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
