He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leland Walter and Geneva Marie Slate (Shipley); his wife Karen Slate of Kingston; his siblings, Leland Slate of Kingston and Rebecca Braboy of Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Patrick, Cailey, Joey, Ethan, Cesar, Fabian, Devin and Tyler; and his great grandchild Mitzeli.
Burial will follow in Kendall Cemetery.The family suggests memorial contributions to the Garry Slate Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
