He is survived by: his wife Conchis; his children, Bertín Tamayo, Norma Tamayo, Hortensia Benites Tamayo, Juventino Tamayo, Sandra Tamayo of Ortiz, Omar Tamayo, Fátima Tamayo, Rogelia, Patty, Luis Miguel Garduño, Miguel Benites and Jaime Ortiz Y Raúl López; his grandchildren, Mayra, Salvador, Miriam, Gabriel, Alexis, Angelica, Yunuen, Luis, Chris, Oscar, Kimberly, Inaky, Wendy, Gabriela, Erick, Angel, Alondra, Valerie, Bryant, Joshua, Jennyfer, Jacob, Desteni, Brandon and Jeremy; and his great grandchildren, Abriana, Andrew, Anthony, Alexa, Angel, Jayden, Carly, Nichole, Allyson, Melanie, Alexander, Messiah, Kassandra, Lucy, Addeline, Annalyse and Camila Y Angel.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St Mary Catholic Church (509 St John St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
