It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen S. Bogner of Garden City, Kansas, born in Cimarron, Kansas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Reimer and Allene Reimer (Helsel); her husband Richard J. Bogner; her brother Edward Reimer; her son-in-law Robert Bigley; and her great grandchild Bennett Morgan.

She is survived by : her children, Charlene Bigley of Oklahoma City, OK, Jake (Sally Bogner) of Yukon, OK and Paul (Stephanie Bogner) of Garden City, KS; her brother Dean Reimer of Cimarron, KS; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Brandon Kornele), Tara Jones, Kristen (Lance Schwandt), Kimberly (Ryan Harp) and Jeffery (Josie Bogner); her stepgrandson Jason Bigley; her great grandchildren, Kaden Kornele, Kole Kornele, Kane Kornele, Paityn Jones, Avarie Jones, Blakely Morgan, Madeline Morgan and Ross Harp; and her stepgreat-grandchild Jaylynn Bigley.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (412 N 7th St, Garden City, KS 67846). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Dominic Catholic Church (615 J C St, Garden City, KS 67846). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
