He was predeceased by: his parents, Toryal Turner and Ellowyne Turner (Green); his grandparents, Roger and Ruth Green; and his brother-in-law Tom Addy.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Martinson; his sons, Donathon "DJ" of Lawrence and Avery of Wichita; and his siblings, Karen Reef of Brighton, Brenda Addy (Roger Hickey) of Wiggins, Colorado and Dewey Turner (Paula) of Brighton, Colorado.. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great nieces and nephews.
