It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laverna Deemer of Garden City, Kansas, born in Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burton and Eleanor Campbell (Morrison); her former husband David Kenneth Madgwick; her husband Alfred Deemer; and her siblings, Harold Campbell, Everett Campbell and Alberta Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Madgwick of Garden City, Kansas, Sandra Meyer of Texarkana and Sheila Paterson of Kansas City, Kansas; and her brother Willis Campbell of Olathe, Kansas. She is also survived by ten Grandchildren; and fifteen Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials given to CMML (Christian Missions in Many Lands, Inc.) in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
