She was predeceased by: her parents, Felicisimo "Felix" and Rosa Arteaga (Ortiz); her great grandchild Jullian Galindo; and her siblings, Jesse Arteaga, Tony Arteaga and Teresa Vasquez.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Sonora Otero; her children, Carl Otero of Garden City, Eva (Curtis Heckel) of Garden City, Frank G. Otero of Garden City, James G. (Misty Otero) of Mt. Royal and Gabriel A. Otero (Candy Laurelez) of Wichita, Kansas; and her siblings, Juan Arteaga of Garden City, Elvera Rangel of Garden City, Cathy Velasquez of Ulysses and Ann Jenkins of Edmond, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; 38 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
