Marie Agnes Unruh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Agnes Unruh of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Agnes Unruh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Hahn and Minerva Harriett Hahn (Myers) of Garfield, KS.; her children, Glen Francis and Mildred Josephine (Josie); her husband Lee Unruh of Ingalls, KS; her daughter Loretta Rose Benge; her grandsons, Eric Unruh and Tom Unruh; and her great grandchild Seth Bellamy.
She is survived by: her children, William Leon, Vernon Laurence, George Edward, Kevin Ray, Gary Unruh (Pauline), Donald Unruh (Linda) and Harriett Warrington (Mike); her daughter-in-law Trudy Unruh; her grandson William Unruh (Sherry); her son Vern Unruh (Marty); her son-in-law John Teubner; her grandson George Unruh (Pam); her son-in-law Steve Benge; and her grandson-in-law Kevin Unruh (Voneta). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, and 9 step great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (105 West 5th St N, Cheyenne Wells, CO 80810). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM.
