He is survived by: his children, Lyndsay Plankenhorn (Josh) of Garden City, Shaina Wiens (Eric) of Phillipsburg and Brad Griggs of Garden City; his mother Dorothy Griggs of Garden City; his siblings, Gene Griggs, Jr. of Garden City and Dixie Misemer of Florida; and his grandchildren, Brayson Plankenhorn, Culden Plankenhorn, Ryder Plankenhorn and Cade Wiens. He is also survived by 2 nephews; and 1 niece.
