With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosetta E. Garnand of Garden City, Kansas, born in Larned, Kansas, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph O. Jarboe and Pearl Jarboe (Butts); her husband Kelsey D. Garnand; her son David Garnand; her children-in-law, Debbie Garnand and Danny Novack; her brothers, Robert Jarboe and Joe Jarboe; and her great grandchildren, Adryon Knoll and Shelby Novack.

She is survived by : her children, Danny Garnand of Guthrie, Jolene Novack of Garden City, Janel (Greg Haflich) of Garden City and DeWain Garnand of Garden City, Kansas; her daughter-in-law Janice Garnand of Overland Park, Kansas; and her sisters, Venita Patzell of Manhattan, Mary Will of Wichita and Cheryl Robertson of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren.

“I was saddened to hear about Mrs. Garnand's passing. In many ways, she was another grandma to me. I remember how she used to make special treats for Lisa and I for halloween and waving as we passed regularly by.
