He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Katz and Mary Katz (Mader); his stepson J. T. Kent; and his brothers, Jerry Katz and John Katz.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Katz; his grandchildren, Lenora Kent, Deanna Ramsey and Prayer Reifschneider; and his sisters, Jolene Katz and Tracy Brown. He is also survived by 2 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews.
Family suggest that memorials be made to The Friends Of Lee Richardson Zoo in care of Garnand Funeral Home Garden City.
