The memory of Susie M. Neatherlin (Garden City, Kansas), who passed away on September 23, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marciano Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez; her spouse Buddie M. Neatherlin; her siblings, Lawrence (Lupe), Phillip (Eva), Vincent, Tony, Raymond, Jenny Herrera and Damiana Hernandez; and her children, Kathy Sue Neatherlin, Bobby Wynn and Bruce Wayne Neatherlin.
She is survived by: her children, Judy, Linda of Ulysses, Buddie (Mary), Brian and Andy of Ulysses; her grandchildren, Matthew Neatherlin (Terra) of Ulysses, Bradley Neatherlin of Ulysses, Andrea Kincaid (Dalton), Kayley Neatherlin of Jacksonville, Joe Orozco (Alyssa), Candy Marshall, Amber Neatherlin, Caleb Neatherlin and Michael Neatherlin; her siblings, Paul (Vena) and Patty Saenz; and her sisters-in-law, Molly Hernandez, Amelia Hernandez, Lawana Neatherlin, Helen (Ronnie) and Garcia (Tucumcari). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home (405 W Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880). A rosary was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (804 N Colorado St, Ulysses, KS 67880). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Due to Covid 19, dementia, and failing health, Susie was unable to be at church to praise the Lord in her later years.
