With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thain Francis Yahne (Garden City, Kansas), born in Great Bend, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thain left this world on September 29, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Thain may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thain touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Yahne and Francis Foster Yahne Williamson; and his brothers, Edward and Raymond. He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Hale; his daughter Maryagnes Yahne (Marly); his grandchildren, Hannah Cook, Kaytlynne Cook, Jacob Cook and Isabella Kluver; and his great grandchild Xander.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Legion, Kansas Soldiers Home or any other Veterans Association.
