She was predeceased by: her parents, George Custer and Rosa E. Holmes (Beye); her husband George Edward Smith; her daughter Loretta Smith; her siblings, Melvin Holmes, Perry Holmes, Johnny Holmes, Lloyd Holmes, Carl Holmes, Opal Cannon, Mary Richardson, Irene Cunningham and Edna Talbott; and her grandchildren, Andrea Smith and Cameron Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Smith (Pat) of Garden City, Dennis Smith (Janet) of Garden City, Steve Smith (Sandy) of Overland Park and Cindy Smith Dial (Tom) of Garden City; and her sister Georgia McDonald of Sarasota. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
