He is survived by: his spouse Pauline Aves August (Schauf); his child Don Aves (Jan) of Garden Plain; and his grandchildren, Dee Mills of Cheney, Troy Aves (Sandielee) of Wichita and Missy Seratt (Shane) of Farewell, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church.
