With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hildred Wittman of Garnett, Kansas, born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Bowman and Adelaide Bowman (Lickteig); her husband Henry Wittman; and her siblings, Merle, Andy Bowman, Caroline, Adelaide and Alice.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Merle, Charles Leo, Edwin John, Merle Wittman (Kay) of Lawrence, Chuck Wittman (Kathy) of Garnett, Ed Wittman (Kim) of Lawrence, Robert Wittman (Connie) of Garnett and Anita Peine (Eugene) of Garnett; and her sister Rose Guilfoyle of Skiatook, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School and left in care of the funeral home.
