It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kinney of Garnett, Kansas, born in Atlanta, Texas, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Kinney and Maggie Kinney (Wiley); and his sister Brenda Kay Kinney. He is survived by: his former wives, Betty Green and Kristina Troyer (Toomey); his wife Kristie Kinney; his sons, James Michael Kinney (Kristy) of San Antonio, Texas and Brian Keith Kinney of San Antonio, Texas; his stepson Jonathan Troyer of Garnett, Kansas; his grandchildren, Susan Stephens, Preston and Isabella Boisclair; his great grandchild Dahlia Stephens; his parents-in-law, Zella Teter (LeRoy) of Garnett, Kansas and Ed Toomey (Linna) of Gardner, Kansas; his siblings, Jerry Kinney (Eva) of Ingleside, Texas and Linda Richardson (Allen) of Queen City, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Green (Gilbert) of Colony, Kansas and Kerry Toomey (Laura) of Ottawa, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
