She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lankard and Edna Lankard (Kelley); her husband Clarence Highberger; and her granddaughter Marissa Hattemer. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Highberger and Deanna Hattemer; her grandsons, Travis Hattemer (Rebecca) of Garnett, Kansas, Alex Hattemer of Lawrence, Kansas and Jeremy Hattemer of Oskaloosa, Kansas; and her great grandchildren, Hayden and Greyson Hattemer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Angels Catholic Church or the Garnett Area Ministerial Alliance Fund.
