She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Macklin and Olive Macklin; her siblings, Wendell Macklin and Dorothy Atwood; and her niece Earlene Atwood.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Barnett (Richard) of Garnett, Diane MacDonald of Kansas City and Doug Bowman (Cheri) of San Diego; and her grandchildren, Brian Barnett of Phoenix, Laura Swofford, Chad Swofford of Gladstone, Brenda Hughes, Mark Hughes of Garnett, Crystal Bowman of Lawrence, Sara Young of Gladstone, Corey Bowman and Mallory Bowman of Gilmore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association.
