He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil R. Cole and Ella M. Cole (Looney); and his siblings, Marjorie Bell, Rose Etta, Susan Cole and Richard Cole.
He is survived by: his former wife Deloris Young; his spouse Rema Lacy Baugher; his children, Ronny Cole (Irene) of Stavanger, Steven Cole (Rhonda Dickerson) of Chanute, KS, Robert Baugher (Jennifer) of Augusta, KS and Angela Huff (Tom Hammer) of Iola, KS; his grandchildren, Shannon Cole, Ashly Miller (John), Geoffrey, Lindsay, Wesley Baugher, Tyler, Kyley Cole, Dalton, Kristin Garver and Logan Huff; his great grandchildren, John Miller IV, Greyson Miller and Izabella Glukowsky; and his brother-in-law William Bell.
The family suggests memorials to be made to Wings of Warrior Cancer Foundation P.O. Box 219 Gas, KS 66742 and may be left with or mailed to them.
