He was predeceased by : his parents, John Smith and Pearl Willms Smith; and his brothers, Carl J. Smith and Owen Smith. He is survived by : his children, Troy Smith of Gilbert, AZ, Mike Smith of Hutchinson, KS, Cody Smith of Minneola, KS and Jessica Smith of Hutchinson; and his granddaughter Tiana Smith.

Memorials may be given to the Smith Family Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
