It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Shriner of Geneseo, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nelson E. Shriner and Mildred J. Moore Shriner; his siblings, Doris Mallein, Esther Jarvis, Belva Jean Lightner, Beryl Shriner, Carol Phelps, John Robert Shriner and Jerry Lee Shriner; and his son-in-law David Phillips.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Lee Wray; his children, Jamie Lea Shriner Hart (Randall) of Midwest City, OK, Jerri Lynn Shriner Phillips of Salina, KS and James Wayne Shriner (Dianna Lange) of Geneseo; and his siblings, David Shriner of Moody, TX and Joyce Ann Mullen of Geneseo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Geneseo United Methodist Church, Geneseo Booster Club, or the Shriner-Moore Family Scholarship Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
