He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell LeRoy Smith and Myrtle May Baker Smith; and his siblings, Nancy Barr and Harry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cullison; his daughter Amanda Smith Ogden (John) of Grove; his grandchildren, Phoenix and Kadin; and his great grandchildren, Roselyn Sue and Hazel May.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the U.'s. National Cemetery (900 E National Ave, Fort Scott, KS 66701).
