It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Penny Louise Ellis of Girard, Kansas, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar W. Ellis and Edith E. Ellis (Fritz); and her siblings, William "Bill" Ellis, Rose M. Ellis, Vickie M. Martinez (Ellis) and Deloris "Anne" Bearden (Ellis).
She is survived by: her children, Amberly Samuel of Girard and Scottie Thomas of Girard; her grandchildren, Brooklyn D. Tallie, Jaelynn S. Samuel, Broxston W. Rono and Aubri Marie Thomas; and her siblings, Edgar "Ed" Ellis of Girard, Sharon Coon (Rick) of Girard, Mary A. Hukill of Pittsburg and Donna Shook (Justin) of Pittsburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Living Faith Church (510 E 47 Hwy, Girard, KS 66743).
