He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Henry H. Wedel and Alma Wedel (Schmidt); his wife Verda Wiens; his sons, Ron Wedel (Becky) of Goessel, Tim Wedel of Goessel, Bob Wedel of Goessel and Daryl Wedel (Jacque) of Newton; and his siblings, Irene Snow (Jerry) of Scott City, KS, Melvin Wedel (Barbara) and Ken Wedel (Barbara). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
