He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Boese); his wife Eunice Maxine Schroeder; his children, Dyann Bockstahler (William) of Hillsboro and Kenley Schmidt (Susan) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Christopher Bockstahler (Julles) of Hillsboro, Elizabeth Bockstahler (Chris) of Portland and Kamal Baker (Josiah) of Colorado Springs; his child Jorie Schmidt of Rochester, Minnesota.; his great grandchildren, Kenna and Jade Baker; and his siblings, Helen Stephens, Millie Loewen, Don Schmidt and Esther Springer.
